Much Better!

A BIG thank you to my family and friends for all of your support. I am feeling much better these days. I feel like I made it over the hump but it was really hard. I really appreciate all the comments and emails that I recieved that helped me through the hard times. I am now enjoying my time with Stella more and more. I am still lonely but know from moving a few times that it takes time to make new friends. The other kids are doing good in school and I have signed them up for after school activities- so the madness begins.

Baby Blues!

Postpartum depression sucks!! I have it and I know I have it bad but overcoming it is something else entirely. I feel worthless, fat, and I don't want to do anything around the house. All I can bring myself to do is take care of the baby and I probably am not good at that. I also don't want to leave the house. I seem to be making everyone around here mad but I am not sure what to do about that. I did ask for meds from the doc but they made me feel VERY sick so I had to stop them. OMG- I hope this ends soon!

I wrote this as an outlet because I am pretty sure not many people read my blog- otherwise I would be horribly embarrassed. I feel like if I say it out loud (or write it down) that it helps. I researched Postpartum depression and only 20% of women go through what I am feeling. I feel like I should be able to control it but can't. I am too embarrassed to go to the doc again even cancelling my 6 week checkup!

Baby Girl

Her eyes are blue- i haven't gotten a good pic of them yet! outfit is 0-3 and too big the shorts are even rolled at the waist in this pic!

she looked at me!

View from my back porch!

This is the view I have from my back porch- it really is pretty and very peaceful in the mornings.

Hooded Towel!

This is the baby's hooded towel that I made her! I hate those teeny tiny ones- they are never big enough for me- so i made one- her name in the zebra is stinkin' cute!

My latest obsession!

This is what I have been doing lately- making hair accessories!
This one is 3 rosettes of different sizes put together- the older girls like this one and I think I will make a few more in different colors for everyone! This one is tiny- can be clipped to a headband or worn alone!

This is a headband and a rosette- I made 3 matching rosettes so the girls can match the baby one day! The headband is stretchy stuff I found at Hobby Lobby- Love It! The rosettes are a learning process- I just practiced until I got better! I may start selling them if I get ambitious!

Father's Day

This picture was taken the day before Father's Day because Sean left at about 4:00 am on Father's Day!

Saxton lost his first tooth!

This is Saxton right after he lost his first tooth- blood and all!
I know you can't see it but he is holding his little baby tooth! His big guy tooth was already coming in behind it so we were encouraging him to pull the baby one and he did!

Our trip to the Huntsville Botanical Gardens

It was military appreciation week here in Huntsville- which is really nice. We got into the Botanical Gardens for free! It was super hot which made me drag even worse but we got to see a lot of the gardens. This is the butterfly house! Some bamboo!

The daylillies!

The big fish- we saw a kid take a dive in this pond as we were walking up- pretty funny- the water is dyed blue so algae won't grow as bad so the kid was blue!

Up in the tree house!
